A Twin Cities animal rescue saved 71 cats after getting a call from a concerned neighbor in Sibley County, Minnesota.
The cats were exposed to dangerously high ammonia levels and had no access to clean water.
Animal Humane Society will no longer be providing free Trap-Neuter-Return services. The new spay or neuter fee of $75 per cat is said to help offset the costs of medical equipment and supplies needed.
