A new prescribed burn, named 2026 Trinity County Piles, was initiated today at 8:53 a.m. in Lassen County, California. The prescribed fire has been burning on federal land managed by the United States Forest Service. Currently, there are no details on the extent of land burned or the size of the crew involved in executing the prescribed fire.
