He Rotarota auaha! In 1920, Tristan Tzara wrote these instructions for how to make a dada poem in 1920. Dada emerged in protest against the First World War (1914-1918). Dadaists responded by embracing chaos and anarchy. Seeking to shock audiences out of their complacency, they built new art from the fragments of the world around them.
