Doubling words up is a common habit or tendency for Fiji Hindi speakers. It's so common that a sentence can feel incomplete without it. It typically entails taking the noun and adding a second word (not real word) which rhymes with the noun. A couple examples using English words which I've used in the examples in the video are "shopping-opping" and "room-oom." Khaanaa is a Hindi and Fiji Hindi word which means food.
