How to sow seeds over Winter without a greenhouse. You just need an empty milk carton. Here’s how we sowed a selection of seeds… 1. Clean the milk jug and discard the lid 2. Cut ¾ around the milk jug halfway up. Don’t cut completely 3. Put holes in the bottom 4. Fill with pre moistened compost 5. Sow seeds (cornflower and nigella work great).
