On May 30th, we announced two inmates at the Auburn Jail tested positive for COVID-19. Since then, we have received many inquiries regarding the latest number of COVID-19 cases at both of our correctional facilities. We currently have eleven inmates at the Auburn Jail who have tested positive for COVID-19, including one correctional officer. One inmate has required hospitalization, but has since recovered and returned to custody. The outbreak has been localized to a specific section of the jail.
