Lola on Instagram: "🎬 Fun Fact: Despicable Me Franchise (2010–) The Minions’ highly recognizable, simplistic design (short, yellow, one or two eyes) was an intentional artistic choice. Originally, the characters were designed to be large, muscular “Orc-like” henchmen to make Gru look smaller and more vulnerable. However, the production team decided to make them small and clumsy instead. This change achieved the opposite effect of what was planned: their small stature and exaggerated slapstick m
